Eric H., a U.S. Army veteran, reflects on his drinking through deployment and his career in law enforcement, attempts to stay sober without a sufficient solution, and the destruction alcoholism laid on his life. After his drinking brought him to the brink of life, in a coma with kidney and liver failure, he walked back into the rooms of Alcoholics Anonymous. Thanks to Alcoholics Anonymous and the Twelve Steps, Eric is now able to live a purposeful life free from alcohol.
