- The AA Groups
- Groups share their voice with their District via their General Service Representative (GSR).
- The GSR represents the voice of the group conscience and links his or her group with AA as a whole.
- Group members received information from their GSR on Conference Actions that affect A.A. unity, health, and growth.
- District Meeting
- The GSR brings the group’s thinking on various A.A. issues to the district for consideration.
- Districts share their voice with their Area via the District Committee Member (DCM).
- GSRs and DCMs attend district committee meetings and also attend the area assembly, where matters affecting the entire area are discussed.
- Area Assembly
- Each assembly considers a variety of issues relative to carrying the A.A. message and elects its delegate to the General Service Conference.
- Areas share with the General Service Conference via the Delegate.
- General Service Conference
- The General Service Conference is composed of the General Service Board, delegates, AAWS and Grapevine Directors, and staff.
