These A.A. Guidelines represent the shared experience of A.A. members and groups throughout the service areas in the United States and Canada.
Participating in A.A. Most A.A. members participate by going to meetings at their local groups. But there are many opportunities for service in A.A., and most of us have found that volunteering to do service improves the quality of our recovery.
The General Service Office serves as a hub of communication for A.A. groups in the U.S. and Canada and as an exchange point for A.A. experience accumulated over the years. GSO. staff coordinate a wide array of activities and services.
