Sandy A – An early pioneer of women in the Canadian Forces, Sandy tells us how alcoholism held her in its grasp, how oftentimes her only friend was the bottle and how simple abstinence, even for long periods of time on her own, was not enough and she eventually drank again. She shares how AA and its fellowship and support gives her a happy and contented life and has helped her live through many challenges.
